Congrats to the Super Bowl winners, the Kansas City Chiefs!
What a great game to watch.
Here’s some sports trivia: Did you know that the MVP, KC’s starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft, and that the Eagles’ QB, Jalen Hurts, (what a game!) was drafted in the second round?
Which brings me to my point. Mahomes now has two championship rings and is already recognized as a sure Hall of Famer, one of the best.
And he’s just five Super Bowl rings behind newly-retired Tom Brady.
Brady was the 199th overall pick in his college draft.
Tom Brady. No matter what you think of him or of football, he’s generally regarded as the best ever.
Even after being told at least 5 times by every team in the NFL that they didn’t think he could start for them.
Don’t give up.
Don’t worry about when you’re selected. As long as you’re given a chance.
