From me to you (and to me, too): Busy Seeks Its Own Level

It’s easy to give advice. I think I find it easy to take advice too.

But for me to heed the words that I say to others? Not so easy.

So this one is for both of us.

Busy seems to seek its own level. It stays and stays and doesn’t go away.

You knew that already, didn’t you?

So I’m not going to tell you to do less.

If you could do less, you would have by now.

Make sure you are enjoying what you do.

I’ll be the first person to say you should walk into situations with a “yes I will” mindset. Accept new challenges because you can learn from these new challenges, expand your comfort zone, and gain new superpowers.

But where will it lead you?

If you can’t see the road beyond your headlights, then ask. Your boss, your mentor, someone who has traveled that road (or one like it) before.

Or decide for yourself.

When you are busy, stop for a moment to wonder about what and where you want to be, what you want to have gained, once you finish this adventure and before you move on to your next one?

You can do it. You’ll be glad you did.

(And so will I!)

See you tomorrow!
