Tuesday Tales: INFUSE

I hope something like this has happened to you too…

You’re learning a new language, a new way of thinking.

You walk into a room filled with people already fluent, professionally, passionately.

The kind of people who don’t see mentoring as a prescribed program, but as something more: a purpose.

That was me last week at the UNM Mentoring Institute Conference.

I had the privilege of presenting with Dr. Judy Vogel, sharing not just our work but the story of our collaboration: Integrating the INFUSE Framework and Mentoring Web Models for College Student Success.

We didn’t just talk about theory. We showed how frameworks like INFUSE and mentoring webs can help students identify who’s in their corner, understand the roles those mentors play, and learn to build networks that are flexible, resilient, and real.

Throughout the week, I met scholars, practitioners, and dreamers who are all working toward helping people grow through connection. The conversations were electric. The ideas generous. The sense of belonging was real.

That is the thing about collaboration. We think our ideas are complete when we write them down, but they come alive when shared.

Judy’s insight, our dialogue, and the reactions from the audience reminded me why mentoring is the ultimate collaboration.

Take a moment and think about it: Who helped you see your work in a new light this week?

Who reminded you that growth is a shared process?

Share it below, or message me if you’d like help uncovering how your greatest challenges might actually be your superpower portfolio, waiting to be discovered.

That’s what You Own Your Origin Story (YOYOS) is all about: helping you see the power inside your own narrative.

Find me here again this Friday and we’ll see how your origin story can help build your superpower portfolio and  your performance.

You own your origin story. Message me if I can help you claim it and build your superpower portfolio.
