Are you the black sheep?

One more thought to share during Black Sheep Week.

Status Quo. Literally, the state in which.

The way things are.

And the way things are, the status quo, the state in which you find yourself, is that way because it benefits somebody. Likely, somebody with authority or majority in their favor. They made the status quo. They love the status quo staying just the way it is.

And if that somebody is not you, if you are the black sheep, you have options.

You always have options. They just might not all seem that appealing.

Because you are butting heads against the authority or the majority.

You can rebel.

You can carve out your own quiet niche.

You can carve out your own loud niche.

You can leave.

And even if you have to dye your wool to fit in for now, please:

Don’t stop being a black sheep.

If that’s what you are.

Then that’s what you are.

And you are what we need.

Now do your black sheep best.
