Tuesday Tales: The Connection is Clear

It’s a plastic lid.

Or a hat.

Or a noisemaker.

Or a thing to try to hold in your mouth.

Or, my favorite: a peek-a-boo starter kit.

My grandson and I made that lid into all of those and more in just a few fun-filled minutes at lunch, before finally finding its designated purpose.

Whether you are a one-year-old… or playing with a one-year-old… or acting like a one-year-old…  meeting challenges through your ability to find new uses for ordinary things is a terrific skill indeed.
