Tuesday Tales: I Don’t Know Where to Go

“I don’t know where to go.”

Have you ever said that to yourself?

Have you ever said that out loud?

“I don’t know where to go” might not seem like it comes from a position of strength or authority.

Certainly, the challenge of being lost, of losing direction is not a superpower.

But it can be.

When you ask for help.

When you know that you don’t know, and  you have the power to say it to someone else.

And then you find someone who can guide you.

It could be a mentor.

It could be someone you delegate authority to.

It could simply be you, asking for help.

It could be someone  you trust.

Steve Jobs, legendary founder of Apple, said “It doesn’t make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do. We hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.”

That kind of awareness is a superpower.

Find a smart person so they can help you with what you don’t know.

And then you’ll know.
