I keep a little list on my phone that I call my Davy Affirmations.

Here’s one of my favorites:

BE IT AND YOU’LL SEE IT.

It’s my antidote to the stale old “fake it ’til you make it” advice.

Don’t fake it.

Be the writer.

Be creative.

Be the speaker.

Be the leader.

Be the person who shows up with integrity before the world gives you permission.

Sometimes we don’t see possibility until we begin acting from identity instead of faking it, like an imposter.

You’re not an imposter.
